Thanks for your interest. The CNRS of France has hired me to further the cause of science. This I try to do by developing instruments for weighing short-lived atomic nuclei using ion traps. Because E = mc^2, the mass of an atom tells us lots about its structure (via the binding energy) as well as related things like the cooking of elements inside stars and the interplay of quarks inside the nucleus. Building mass spectrometers and trapping ions is also quite fun !
